Nestled atop the beautiful resort town of Ocho Rios on Jamaica's lush North shore, The Crane Ridge Resort is a wonderful hillside resort which is only a few minutes walking to the beach, shopping and restaurants.

This 90- unit resort lies in the midst of 19 acres of luscious landscaped gardens filled with exotic birds during the day and the music of crickets at night.

The resort is a complex of nine three-story residences encircling a fresh water swimming pool with swim-up bar and whirlpool. The open-air restaurant and bar is perfectly set in the center, making this an ideal place for casual dining and family fun. The complimentary shuttle will take you to the beach just 5 minutes away where you can rent water sports equipment or just enjoy the sun, sand and sea.

The tour desk can arrange for a day of hiking on Blue Mountain, a round of golf or an exhilarating climb on Jamaica's Dunns River Falls. If you'd like to get in a game of tennis, there are two tennis courts on site. Whether it's a honeymoon, a romantic getaway or a family vacation, all are perfect occasions to celebrate at The Crane Ridge Resort.

The Crane Ridge Resort features three room categories, which provides the flexibility to accommodate a myriad of guests, of which the most popular are; foreign vacationers, honeymooners, families and groups.

Requests may be made for specific bedding; however these will be subject to availability. Some suites may accommodate an extra person, only on the basis that the single bed is substituted for a double.

STANDARD ROOM
This double occupancy accommodation is that of a typical hotel, offering bed and bath facilities. It is fully air conditioned with hot and cold water and cable television. The balconies are shared and some rooms come with adjacent doors, which families may opt to have unlocked to create one large apartment with dual facilities. Rooms are equipped with irons ironing boards and safety deposit boxes. They are located on the ground floor, offering pool and garden views.

ONE BEDROOM SUITE
The One Bedroom Suites are our midlevel units. They are available on the ground and upper floors and offer both pool and garden views. They accommodate three persons comfortably with two beds one of which is a day bed located in the living area. Here you’ll find comfy cushioned chairs, placed around the carved coffee table as well as a dining table and chairs on the balcony that offers a fantastic view. The moderately equipped kitchenette is equipped with a cooker top, waist high refrigerator and utensils.
In the event you choose to entertain visitors, additional utensils may be obtained at no cost.

TWO BEDROOM SUITE
The Two Bedroom Suite is the largest room category the resort offers and may accommodate a maximum of five persons. Upon entering the suite, you will be welcomed by the ambiance of its wonderfully furnished sitting area, which sits adjacent its quaint kitchenette. The furnishings showcase Jamaican craftsmanship and upholstered chairs contribute to the native décor. From here there’s the entry way to the downstairs bedroom (as this is a split level apartment), with tropical print comforters and drapes. The main bathroom, which is complimented by a full bath and shower and lit vanity, is accessible through this room.

From the sitting area, a spiral staircase marks your ascension into the suite’s master bedroom located in the loft. This area features its own sitting area, in addition to a walk-in closet and a Jacuzzi style tub enclosed by custom made folding screen doors for more privacy. The master bedroom is also equipped with a vanity and sink as well as a toilet; the Jacuzzi tub also carries and extendable shower head for your convenience.

BAR: - The resort features one bar which is attached to the swimming pool with seats submerged in its free forming blue waters. Sample a variety of local liqueurs and fruit cocktails prepared by our mixology expert, while being caressed by the sweet Caribbean sun. Your visit here will not be complete until you’ve tried his specialty drink, as its one you surely cannot forget.

RESTAURANT: - The Verandah Café offers full service from 7:30am until 10:00pm daily. Both local and international cuisines are offered here, all prepared to order. Feel free to sample from our menu or make your own recommendations to the chef. The atmosphere is in keeping with the resort’s aim to have its entire infrastructure blending effortlessly into the surroundings.

JACUZZI & DAY SPA: - Pamper yourself in this heated whirlpool, located next to the swimming pool in the central area. Tilt your head back while the smooth jet action releases all stress and tension or have our certified spa technicians work wonders with their full body massages. Hair treatments, as well as manicures and pedicures are among the services offered and don’t be afraid to try combo treatments which are even more economic.

TENNIS COURTS: - Crane Ridge offers two tennis courts which are located on site. Our resident pro offers lessons to beginners and a worth challenge for those who feel “invincible”. All in good fun he’ll regale in having you ‘feel out’ the corners of the court until you just admit defeat. The courts are also lit for playing at nights at your request and free lessons are given on Tuesdays.

LAUNDRY: - On and off site laundry services are offered for your convenience.

TOUR DESK: - Day trips encompassing the entire island may be arranged here, as well as offshore day trip to Cuba. Daily shuttles depart the resort for local attraction such as Dunn’s River Falls, Dolphin Cove and Chukka Cove (for horseback riding river tubing).

CAR RENTAL: - Be adventurous and try doing it like the locals. We drive on the left here and hope you don’t mind doing the same. Ocho Rios offers a variety of companies from which rentals may be arranged. Contact our Tour Desk representative who’s sure to find one that’s just right for you.

COMMISSARY: - This sits adjacent our reception area and offers a variety of local products ranging from T-Shirts and Cravings to typical island souvenirs. Rum sampling is available and snacks may be obtained here as well.

BEACH SHUTTLE: - This is a complimentary service to the beach just two blocks away where you’ll enjoy a variety of water sports, work on your souvenir tan and drink coconut water directly from the coconut (stray optional).

GOLFING: - You can arrange for a round of golf just 15 minutes away at Upton. Where you may challenge all 18 holes or just take it easy with 9. You may contact the resort for more information.

WATERSPORTS: - Motorized activities in addition to snorkeling and parasailing can all be arranged at your request.
